Members of the media and the Hualapai tribe take a preview walk on the Skywalk, billed as the first-ever cantilever-shaped glass walkway. It extends 70 feet from the western Grand Canyon’s rim more than 4,000 feet above the Colorado River on the Hualapai Reservation at Grand Canyon, Arizona.

Burj Dubai is now taller than any building in both the Middle East and Europe. Having reached 110 stories high (380 meters) it has the largest number of floors of any building, and when completed, will be the tallest in the world.
There are only 38 other buildings in the world that reach over 300 meters high, with 3 of them now being in Dubai.

Gasworks Park was, a gasworks in the early part of the 20th Century. A clean-up and a bond issue turned this abandoned inner-city gas manufacturing plant into a beloved park. Gas Works Park has a play area with large play barn, and big hill popular for flying kites. Special park features include a sundial, and a beautiful view of Seattle.
